As a tutor I am passionate about both the subjects I teach and helping students grow into strong learners. I can work with students on their reading, writing, phonics, literature, grammar, English, German, and other subjects. I'm available to tutor English as a second language. I can help anyone improve their public speaking skills, or I can help students prepare for their standardized exams like the SAT. I received my degree from William Paterson University, and I am excited to now be working with students as a tutor. I try to foster a tutoring environment that will help my students engage and learn. I understand that every student is unique and learns differently, and that's why I personalize all of my lesson plans. Students are taught in whatever way works best for them. I am a relaxed, patient tutor, and I do my best to make students feel comfortable so that they can express themselves and we can overcome their learning obstacles together. Even as a teacher I am always learning new things. I believe that learning is a perpetual process, and I share that belief with all of my students. When I'm not tutoring I enjoy reading, going on hikes, swimming, skiing, and cooking good food.
